FAQS

Q: Can we have_____?

A: Read your food plan and eat only the foods that are listed.

Q: I am not hungry at the scheduled meal times.  Does this happen to anyone else?

A: YES! You’re retraining your brain to eat what your body needs at an appropriate time for its level of activity.  In the beginning of the program, this might mean you aren’t hungry as often.  Your body is adjusting to the new schedule of increased exercise, water intake and scheduled meals and snacks.  Continue to eat as scheduled.  Just wait…pretty soon you will be hungry.  Your metabolism will be constantly working which will make you hungry because you are burning the fuel.  Don’t skip meals because you don’t feel hungry!

Q: How will I know if my food portion sizes are correct?

A: Go to the #BCC60 DAY Transformation Group on Facebook and Post lunch and dinner pics with fist or scale.  You can also get ideas for meal prep and presentation from fellow challengers.  You will also find how much prep and style can excite your meals.  Fee for Fuel!

Q: Should I cut Salt?

A: No.  Your muscles need Sodium, Calcium & Potassium.  Cutting salt will hinder your results in this challenge.  When people suggest a low sodium diet they mean cut out processed foods, not cutting all salt.  You would need to salt whole foods to the point that it would be undesirable to reach the level of sodium that most Americans consume! Cutting salt will hinder your results if not instructed by your Doctor.

Q: How do I use the secret Facebook Group?

A: The 60 Day Challenge Facebook Group is meant to encourage and educate.  Please don’t use the group to vent or complain.  Energy is contagious and we want to make sure we are all staying positive and motivating each other.  Please refrain from asking questions about food that is not in the packet.  We put only the best food in this packet to help you get the best results possible.  Questions regarding non-listed food only causes mass confusion.  FTDI!!!

Q:  Can I use Crystal Light or Walden Farm’s Zero Calorie Sauces?

A: All 60 day challengers must work out 5 times per week but this is only the minimum.  You are welcome to workout 6 days a week, do 2 classes a day or even add some extra HIIT cardio work.  If we feel you need extra “homework” we will inform you at your weekly weigh in depending on your progress.

Q: How do I get the most out of the Facebook Group (#BCC60DAY Transformation Challenge?)

A: Use the forum for conversations, motivation and discussion regarding the challenge.

Q: As a woman, if I lift weights, will I develop a manly physique?

A: This is a myth.  Lifting heavy weight will not cause women to look masculine. Read more about the truth here: http://www.muscleandstrength.com/articles/female-myth-lifting-makes-you-look-like-a-man

Q: How important are Facebook check-ins?

A: As part of your Agreement, you must check in at the gym on every visit, on your own page.  It must be using the location check in and it must be available for all of your friends to see.  Please be sure you are checking in every time you visit the gym.

Q: How do I check-in at Bootcamp Cincinnati using my smartphone?

A: Start by going to Facebook from your phone (most users have a Facebook application installed.) Use the check-in button on your Facebook newsfeed.  Don’t navigate to #BCC60 Day Transformation Challenge Group page to check-in. Open Facebook and click the “Check-in” button. Then search “Bootcamp Cincinnati Personal Training and Fitness” and select your location. Next tag “Denise Bryers” and whoever else you would like to tag that’s in attendance.  Next, write a brief sentence about your workout and number your check-in. Example: “Ready for Leg Day #15.” Click Post!  You should see your post with a small map showing were Bootcamp Cincinnati is located.  Congratulations, you just checked in! You can also check-in when you post a status message on Facebook.  Update your status and click the location icon.  A list of nearby locations will be displayed.  Choose your location.

Q: How much water should I drink?

A: Your goal should be to drink a gallon of water a day. Your body needs water even more than food. Water is necessary to flush toxins out of your body and for transporting nutrients where they are needed.  Drinking water will also help suppress your appetite.  Water also helps you eat your dry ass chicken.

Q: Should I cut carbs completely?

A: Your brain requires certain amount of cabs to function properly.  Cutting carbs can result in cognitive issues, and makes you feel lethargic and emotional.  Our body also needs healthy carbohydrates to help hydrate your body and speed up our metabolism.

Q: Where can I find the class schedule and address to the workout location?

A:  www.bootcampcincinnati.com/sign-up-today
